Rosa E. Moreno-Livni is an institutional business development professional focused on institutional capital formation for small and emerging investment managers across public and private market strategies. Moreno-Livni works with the investment teams and investment consultants of endowment and foundation pools of assets; as well as the defined benefit channel (public plans, corporate plans, health care plans, insurance plans). MorenoLivni leads fundraising strategy and pipeline development to help investment managers expand their institutional investor base thereby growing their assets under management. MorenoLivni currently serves as strategic advisor to a digital infrastructure manager with $2B in assets under management.
Moreno-Livni holds an MA and an MSc from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she founded the Debating Society; and the London School of Economics (respectively). MorenoLivni’s formal investment management career began at Progress Investment Management Co., a multi asset fund of funds that pioneered the emerging manager space and advocated for increased institutional allocations to small managers. There, Moreno-Livni worked for the President executing sales strategy. Morenolivni played an important role representing the company at industry conferences (including PensionBridge, NCPERS, NASRA, NCTR, SACRS); as well as serving as the firm’s proxy for advocacy groups (NAA, AAAIM, NASP, SEO).
Outside of work, Moreno-Livni has a robust portfolio of volunteering for the Bank of America Marathon, the Architectural Foundation, the Classical Music Orchestra; and serving as a career coach, observing elections, chess and debate judging. MorenoLivni is an avid traveler and loves the outdoors.
